Yeewi had the immense pleasure of taking part in Kimpavita 2024, a major feminist festival dedicated to the struggles, knowledge, and creations of African and Afro-descendant women.
During this powerful gathering, we showcased our work on sexual and reproductive health, our unwavering commitment to the rights of women and girls, and our flagship SRHR projects—especially focusing on menstrual health, combating obstetric and gynecological violence, and defending the right to safe abortion.
Kimpavita was also a wonderful opportunity for Yeewi to connect with fellow feminist organizations, engage on shared challenges, exchange organizing strategies, and forge vital bonds within the African feminist movement.
It was an inspiring moment of sisterhood, mutual learning, and solidarity that truly embodies Yeewi's spirit: rising together to advance human rights and social justice.
